I ordered a hot tub.
This weekend we went to Sacramento to have Christmas with Grandma Judy and then went to Stockton to have Christmas brunch with Santa. It was funny to watch Ella with Santa. She sat on his lap for five minutes going over her list, then she realized she forgot to ask for a hot tub so she went back to his lap. When she returned to the table she announced, "I ordered a hot tub." It was pretty funny.

GOBBLE , GOBBLE.
Thanksgiving was spent in San Francisco at Auntie Tracee's house. We had fun making a berry pie before dinner, although nobody believed that we made it (for all you skeptics see the pictures below). We also played pin the hat on the turkey. Ella won and got the prize. Leo enjoyed his first Thanksgiving, but he passed on the turkey.

Can I Have A Push Up?

JD and Ella went for a paddle boat ride this weekend around Stow Lake. The weather here was terrific. Unfortunately Ella spent half of the boat ride crying about wanting a push up. I doubt JD will be taking her out again any time soon. Here are some pictures from their adventure.

HALLOWEEN TIME

Ella loved dressing up like a witch for Halloween. She went trick-or-treating at the Boo at the Zoo and then on Halloween night. Leo went as a little devil. Ella is already planning her costumes for the future. Apparently she will be Dorothy next year, and a princess the year after that.

DISNEYLAND....

Ella had a great time in Disneyland. It was quite an eventful few days. We started off the first day with JD spilling his hot coffee all over both Ella and Leo. It was not pretty, but luckily the "cast" was very kind to her. They gave her a new set of clothes and a collector's pin. We even got to enter on the special entrance. Ella was awesome. She went on Splash Mountain (twice), Pirates of the Caribean (twice), and Thunder Mountain Railroad (three times). She just made the 40 inch cut off, and everyone was impressed that she was riding such big rides. Leo enjoyed riding all the rides too. He went on everything he could, and had wide eyes the entire time.

We went to the princess lunch on Monday. Ella loved meeting the princesses and getting their autographs. During the parade, Ella was practicing her princess wave and made eye contact with Belle. Belle blew her a kiss. It was "very special".

PICTURE TIME...

Yesterday Ella got her first set of "posed" pictures. She was dying to dress up like a princess and get some pictures taken. She was practicing her poses in the car the whole way there. It was quite funny. She was a little shy and reserved during the "snow white shoot", but once the pink gown was on she came up with the poses herself. The picture taker couldn't stop laughing. When she was finished, we thought we would see if Leo would cooperate. He ended up taking some cute pics too. Friday we are off to Disneyland, where Ella gets to meet the real princesses. Her advent calendar is almost to the end, and she is very excited.
