Preschool Celebration

Today Ella celebrated her birthday at school. She brought vanilla and chocolate cupcakes with lots of frosting and sprinkles. They were a big hit. Toby forced down green beans against his will to ensure that he would get one, and Faiz appeared to be eating his rice as well until Ms.Salina discovered a pile under his chair that he had been spitting out instead of swallowing. It was hilarious. Ella loved everyone singing to her and couldn't wait to blow out her birthday candle. She already has asked for a cupcake for breakfast tomorrow. Tomorrow should be eventful for sure!

Cinderella has RSVP'd!

Today we went to the party store to buy some final details for Ella's birthday party. We picked out some sparkling candles, Cinderella hats and a birthday crown. Just before we were leaving we noticed wall size princesses. They had them all. It was quite exciting. Ella had a tough decision, but finally decided that she liked Cinderella the best. She is putting on her own dress as I type and then we are going to start decorating for her party this Saturday.

Play Gym

Leo has been loving his play gym the past couple of days. He is batting at the parrot and elephant. He has also discovered the television and is quite fascinated with it.

Birthday Ball Gown
Ella picked out her birthday gown today at Babies R' Us. It is a pink dress with a rhinestone cupcake that says "birthday girl". The top is made of soft velvet and the bottom is made of organza. It has a pink satin bow on the back. Ella wants to wear it now! She took it off the hanger and held it up to her body while dancing around the room singing. She is so funny!

Party time!

Ella's birthday is this Sunday. She is so excited. I think her official words were, "my birthday is this weekend, YES!!" We are having a small birthday party on Saturday to celebrate. Ella really wants an Ariel dress, but I think will be happy with anything princess.
